when immersed in watching a film or reading a book, when driving a familiar route or when listening to music. These are all altered states of consciousness and all are various levels of trance. It is normal, natural and common. Hypnotherapy works with the unconscious and helps remove limiting beliefs, fears, phobias and negative emotions.
At all times you are in control and aware of everything around you and can bring yourself out of trance at any time You cannot be made to do anything you do not want to do.
